"I think I was a "non-descript" kind of guy in high school and other than being in the band, did not participate in many activities. I truthfully do not remember a whole lot about that time in my life. I wish I did. We lived in the Park Berkshire apartments and I attended Suitland HS for all 3 years (and 1 year at Suitland Jr. High). I worked at Tony's Pizzeria and my best friends were Tom Powers and the late Jimmy Weedon.

I had a short stint at the University of MD but I majored in partying and left after one semester. I went on to a successful career in retail management starting with Toys R Us and finishing with a 20+ year career opening and managing Costco locations across the country. I was blessed to be able to retire early and moved to Tucson, AZ, the hometown of my wife of 37 years, Lynda.

Once here I decided that a new career was in my future and earned a master's degree in education at the University of Arizona. I went on to become a college counselor at a local inner city high school, helping first generation students get into and find a way to pay for college. In 2014 I was elected to the Pima Community College Board of Governors where I currently serve as chair.

My life is truly a blessing now with 2 grown daughters and 3 grandchildren. If you remember me and can help me fill in some of the gaps please reach out."
